Several items in the MCSP were\u00a0adapted from the Professional Moral Courage Scale developed by Sekerka et al (<a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s10551-008-0017-5\">J Business Ethics. 2009;89:565\u2013579<\/a>). We appreciate emails letting us know how you plan to use the scale and letting us know your experience after using it.\u00a0 Please email William Martinez, MD, MS, at <a href=\"mailto:william.martinez@vanderbilt.edu\">william.martinez@vanderbilt.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scoring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All scale items are measured on a 7-point Likert scale from \u201cstrongly disagree\u201d (1) to \u201cstrongly agree\u201d (7).<\/p>\n<p>A summary score for the scale\u00a0may be computed\u00a0using the following formula: scale score = (mean of the scale items \u2013 1) x (50\/3).
