Vector NTI offers sequence analysis and data management functionality to researchers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">In the past, annual licenses, which expire one year after activation, were offered to higher education for free. The supplier no longer offers the software for free.. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Invitrogen has offered a volume discount to Vanderbilt if there is demand for at least seventy-five licenses. Each license includes:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Perpetual use rights (i.e. the software never expires)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Technical support via email<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Update rights to version 11 revisions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Backward use rights for version 10<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Media, a Quick Start Guide, and an Installation Guide<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">An additional 48% discount when upgrading to future versions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Version 12 is expected to be released during 2011. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">Licenses may be installed on systems owned by Vanderbilt departments, employees and current students. The software may only be used for non-profit research. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif\">The ITS Software Store must recover cost before it can place the order. If you wish to participate in this offer, please follow the ordering instructions below.
