His work has won awards from the Association for Jewish Studies and American Sociological Association.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt;font-family: 'Aptos',sans-serif;color: black\">Prof. Kelner\u00a0has been a fellow of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem\u2019s Institute for Advanced Studies, a visiting scholar at Tel Aviv University, and a fellow of the University of Michigan\u2019s\u00a0Frankel Institute for Advanced Judaic Studies. He has served as a board member of the Association for Jewish Studies and the Association for the Social Scientific Study of Jewry.
