{"id":337,"date":"2014-01-28T17:20:45","date_gmt":"2014-01-28T22:20:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/drgrundstrom.wordpress.com\/?p=154"},"modified":"2014-01-28T17:20:45","modified_gmt":"2014-01-28T22:20:45","slug":"the-2017-nashville-eclipse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/my.dev.vanderbilt.edu\/sced3890pedagogy\/2014\/01\/the-2017-nashville-eclipse\/","title":{"rendered":"The 2017 Nashville Eclipse!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In class yesterday we talked about eclipses and so here&#8217;s the post about it!<\/p>\n<p>The totally awesome (and very dedicated) <a title=\"The Ultimate Resource for Eclipse Photography\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mreclipse.com\/\" >Mr. Eclipse<\/a> (i.e., The Ultimate Resource for Eclipse Photography) is a favorite of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/\" >NASA<\/a> so they use his diagrams on <a title=\"NASA Eclipse Page\" href=\"http:\/\/eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov\/eclipse.html\" >their eclipse website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The foremost resource for the 2017 eclipse is <a href=\"http:\/\/eclipse2017.org\/\" >eclipse2017.org<\/a>.\u00a0 The <a title=\"2017 Total Solar Eclipse Interactive Google Map\" href=\"http:\/\/xjubier.free.fr\/en\/site_pages\/solar_eclipses\/TSE_2017_GoogleMapFull.html\" >Interactive Google Map<\/a> they have linked is AMAZING.\u00a0 The image below is from that map.\u00a0 The <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Solar_eclipse_of_August_21,_2017\" >Wikipedia article<\/a> is pretty good as well.<\/p>\n<div data-shortcode=\"caption\" id=\"attachment_155\" style=\"width: 614px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/xjubier.free.fr\/en\/site_pages\/solar_eclipses\/TSE_2017_GoogleMapFull.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-155 \" alt=\"Path of the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse.
