NCPI has led a team of researchers to evaluate all three of the state\u2019s 21st century incentive pay programs, with the final evaluation recently published.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"District Awards for Teacher Excellence Program: Final Evaluation Report\" href=\"https:\/\/my.dev.vanderbilt.edu\/performanceincentives\/research\/texas-studies\/district-awards-for-teacher-excellence-program-final-evaluation-report\/\">More<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>News<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>NCPI Recognized As One of Peabody College&#8217;s &#8220;Great Ideas&#8221;<\/h4>\n<p>The National Center on Performance Incentives has been deemed one of Peabody\u2019s \u201cSeven Great Ideas\u201d in an article of the winter 2010 issue of the\u00a0<em>Peabody Reflector<\/em>. The article celebrates the 225th anniversary of Vanderbilt University\u2019s Peabody College of education and human development \u2013 and recognizes the evolution of education research at the institution including seven key innovations that continue to make a lasting impression on the field of education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul><a title=\"NCPI Recognized As One of Peabody College\u2019s \u201cGreat Ideas\u201d\" href=\"https:\/\/my.dev.vanderbilt.edu\/performanceincentives\/ncpi-newsletter\/ncpi-recognized-as-one-of-peabody-colleges-great-ideas\/\">More<\/a><\/p>\n<li>\n<h4>NCPI Website Features Experts on Educator Effectiveness<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<p>NCPI and Battelle for Kids&#8217; 2010 national conference,\u00a0<em>Evaluating and Rewarding Educator Effectiveness: Navigating the Evolving Landscape<\/em>, brought together the nation&#8217;s leading experts on topics critical to issues of educator effectiveness. Two recent journal articles were featured in\u00a0<em>Education Finance and Policy<\/em> and\u00a0<em>The Stata Journal.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Center Affiliates Advance Value-Added Research\" href=\"https:\/\/my.dev.vanderbilt.edu\/performanceincentives\/ncpi-newsletter\/center-affiliates-advance-value-added-research\/\">More<\/a><\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Center Affiliates Make an International Impact<\/h4>\n<p>Dale Ballou, NCPI affiliate and associate professor of public policy and education at Vanderbilt University&#8217;s Peabody College, recently visited Brazil to participate in a seminar entitled\u00a0<em>Education Policy: A Discussion of Brazil and the U.S.<\/em>, while other center affiliates were contributing authors on a forthcoming report by the Organisation for Economic
