Disease Highlight – Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia

This subsection will highlight a muscular birth defect of the diaphragm, congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). CDH presents in 1 in 2,500 fetuses as a hole in the diaphragm of varying size. As such, it is classified by severity as type A, B, C, or D (in order of increasing severity). For more information about this disease, click the links below.
