Many downtown hot spots are walking distance from campus; others can be reached via a short cab ride. Both Uber and Lyft also offer transportation services in Nashville.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Cultural:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>The Frist Center for the Visual Arts<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Located just down the street from the Vanderbilt Campus, it features the work of internationally renowned artists.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/fristcenter.org\">Frist Website<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><em>The Tennessee State Museum <\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Located about 2.5 miles from campus, it features an interactive overview of Tennessee state history starting 13,000 BCE\u00a0with the peopling of the Cumberland Plateau and surrounding regions and moving to present day. \u00a0The museum also hosts a number of traveling exhibits which change seasonally.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tnmuseum.org\">Tennessee State Museum Website<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Music:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Station Inn<\/em>.\n<ul>\n<li>Located in the historic Gulch neighborhood, Station Inn is the best place in the city to hear live bluegrass music. \u00a0Doors open and 7 pm and performances begin at 9 pm nightly.
