\"\"The Office for Inclusive Excellence<\/a> is offering a professional development workshop, \u201cCreating Opportunities out of Difference\u201d, an interactive workshop featuring PowerPlay<\/a> Interactive Development from the University of New Hampshire.<\/p>\n

PowerPlay will employ a unique interactive theater model focused on issues of creating inclusive classrooms and positive student interactions. The Powerplay model involves actor improvisation and dialogue with participants that concludes with actors\u2019 experimentation with strategies to achieve more desirable scenario outcomes.<\/p>\n

The workshop will be held on Monday, May 21st<\/strong> in Kissam C216<\/strong> and is open to anyone\u2014graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty\u2014who work with students in the classroom. View the event flyer.<\/a><\/p>\n

This workshop will be offered twice:<\/p>\n

Morning session<\/strong>\u2014breakfast at 8:30 am, workshop from 9:00\u201311:00 am
\nAfternoon session<\/strong>\u2014lunch at 12:30 pm, workshop from 1:00\u20133:00 pm<\/p>\n
