\nLatin American Images Photography Exhibit Competition 2013
\n<\/em><\/strong>Location: 230 Buttrick Hall<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n

The Latin American Images<\/em> Photography Competition will feature original photos taken in Latin America by \"\"<\/a>Vanderbilt, students and staff and visiting scholars from various departments.\u00a0 Photographs will be on\u00a0display throughout International Education Week (November 11-20) in the Buttrick Hall Atrium.\u00a0 A reception will be held to announce contest prize winners on Thursday, November 14 at 4:30pm in the Buttrick Atrium. The Center for Latin American Studies will award cash prizes to the first, second and third place entries.<\/p>\n

One entry will be accepted per person by November 1.\u00a0 Participants will be asked to submit an 8×10 print in addition to a digital and online submission form.\u00a0 For further information on competition rules and requirements please contact Elizabeth Murphy elizabeth.g.murphy.1@vanderbilt.edu<\/a> or Alma Paz Sanmiguel\u00a0 alma.paz-sanmiguel@vanderbilt.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

IEPM graduate James Nardella will discuss questions pertinent to any graduate looking for a vocation in the international development field: What are the entry points? Where do you hope to add value on the continuum between those who fund international development and those on the receiving end? James is the Executive Director of the Lwala Community Alliance<\/a>, a health and development agency with projects that benefit 6,000 Kenyan students.
