She earned a B.S. in Biochemistry with minors in Mathematics and Biotechnology from Indiana University. Her research topics include studying the components of the\u00a0<i>H. pylori<\/i>\u00a0cag Type IV Secretion System as well as the recruitment of the bacterial oncoprotein\u00a0CagA.
