The list of people includes: Akram Aldroubi, Doug Hardin, Mike Neamtu, Alex Powell, Ed Saff, Larry Schumaker, and also other faculty with interest in this general area. The Center also houses the editorial headquarters of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/journal\/365\">Constructive Approximation<\/a><\/em>, an international journal for approximations and expansions.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">\n<h2>News<\/h2>\n<table cellpadding=\"10\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td valign=\"top\">\n<h4>Center Enters Cooperative Agreement With Bulgarian Academy of Sciences<\/h4>\n<p>The Center for Constructive Approximation recently entered into a cooperative agreement with the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences to promote future research collaboration between the two.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Ed Saff, director of the Center for Constructive Approximation, and Julian Revalski, director of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, signed the agreement on February 27, 2014 in Sofia, Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting included discussions of future collaborative research efforts and the mentoring of young mathematicians. Part II was released in June 2015 as Volume 41, Issue 3, while Part I was published in February 2014 as Volume 39, Issue 1.<\/p>\n<p>The Special Issue covers Painlev\u00e9 equations and their connections with orthogonal polynomials and special functions as well as related numerical methods.
