She completed a senior thesis on the expression and purification of a bile acid oxidoreductase in support of crystallographic studies in the lab of Dr. Kathryn McCulloch. At Vanderbilt, she is co-mentored by Dr. Lars Plate.\u00a0Her\u00a0research project focuses on\u00a0spectroscopically characterizing alpha-Synuclein.
