{"id":326,"date":"2017-04-23T14:14:43","date_gmt":"2017-04-23T19:14:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/my.dev.vanderbilt.edu\/balleristics17\/?page_id=326"},"modified":"2017-04-23T17:40:54","modified_gmt":"2017-04-23T22:40:54","slug":"algorithm","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/my.dev.vanderbilt.edu\/balleristics17\/algorithm\/","title":{"rendered":"Algorithm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are two layers of processing associated with the collection of data from the sensors:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/my.dev.vanderbilt.edu\/balleristics17\/arduino-processing\/\">Arduino data collection and processing<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/my.dev.vanderbilt.edu\/balleristics17\/matlab-processing\/\">MATLAB processing<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Most data collection occurs in MATLAB, although there are exceptions, primarily in heart rate.<\/p>\n<p>Data processing in MATLAB allows for discernment of the officer&#8217;s condition. Based on integration of the data from the five sensors \u2012 plethysmograph, pressure conductive sheet, accelerometer, blood glucose sensor, and force sensor\u00a0\u2012 an assessment is made.
