Above is a picture of my dog, Max the Maltipoo, but I just call him Max. He is heckin cute.
He is currently 8 years old but turns 9 in April of 2020 :(. This probably means that he will probably die soon (apparently Maltipoos have an average lifespan of 12 years) so I am hoping to get a Husky, Golden Retriever, Malamute, Great Pyrenees, or some other large dog to fill the gaping black hole in my soul and heart. I really hope he has a painless death but if necessary I will make sure that I will be by his side when the veterinarian injects him with something to kill him peacefully. The look in his eyes as he realizes that I had a part in his death will haunt me for the rest of my life but it is something I must live with. It is possible that having another dog will cause me emotional pain so I may instead become one of those cat people you see on TV.
He has a really long pretty tail that shakes uncontrollably along with his butt, making him one of the cutest doggos in the world. For anyone who is unfamiliar with dog breeds, a Maltipoo is a mix breed of a Maltese and a Poodle. If you want to know more about Maltese or Poodles, click on their names and it will take you to their wikipedia page.

Hi, my name is Colin, and I am currently a student athlete at Vanderbilt University. I am taking 2 astronomy classes this semester, and hope to gain a good amount of perspective when it comes to knowing about space and our place in it. I’ve always enjoyed sci-fi and fantasy genres of books, movies, and video games. An idea I once heard that has always stuck with me was the notion that the people of today were born too late to explore the world, but were born too early to explore space. From what I have learned so far in my classes, is that we are a long ways off from doing any sort of deep space voyages. I think that despite this harsh reality, people long to explore something new because of the idea of being great and having a palpable goal to work towards.
Something that I noticed I did on accident, was actually consume 3 unrelated iterations of entertainment that all explored space during Winter Break. Those 3 things being the movies Star Wars and The Wandering Earth, and the video game The Outer Worlds. I’m looking forward to gaining a better perspective on a set of topics that I’m naturally drawn too!
Welcome to my space blog! Since the only free site name I could find including my title included “music”, I figured I needed to find a picture involving both space and music. I do like music, though I didn’t name the blog that way on purpose. I play piano and saxophone.
This is a test blog to ensure the capabilities are functioning correctly. My name is Erich (I’m named for my dad, Richard: as I’m the oldest child I’m the “heir of Rick”). Here’s a photo of me.
Welcome to the inaugural post to Jonah’s Astronomy Interests! Just to start, here are some things about me because why not: I’m from St. Louis, Missouri (if you couldn’t tell from the picture above) and I wish I could’ve minored in astronomy but physics wasn’t the move. Another thing to share: I love when I’m driving back home through the plains and can roll down my window, look up and see a clear view of all the stars while simultaneously blasting my favorite playlists. In these moments, I realize how our existence came from the explosion of some star so long ago and has progressed to the that moment in time. While simple, it’s one of the few things I indulge in whenever I can. Anyways, that’s just an intro into Jonah’s Astronomy Interests. Thanks for stopping by!
